Carpentry, Framing & Roof Framing in Palm Beach County
Structural framing, roof framing and truss setting, formwork, blocking and bucks - the carpentry that carries the load, built to the engineering on your plans.
Structural Carpentry, Not Trim Work
This is the framing that holds the building up: bearing walls, beams, floor systems, roof framing and trusses. It is laid out from the drawings, cut to the engineering, and fastened with the connectors the plans specify - not whatever is on the truck.
In South Florida the connection details matter as much as the lumber. Straps, hurricane clips, anchorage and uplift resistance are what an inspector looks at, and what keeps a roof on in a storm.

Roof Framing and Truss Setting
We set trusses and build conventional roof framing - gables, hips, valleys and the tie-ins between them. Bracing goes in as the trusses are set rather than afterwards, and everything is tied down to the tie beam per the engineering.
Once the roof is framed and sheathed, the building is ready for dry-in, which is usually the milestone that unlocks the rest of your schedule.
Formwork, Blocking and Bucks
Formwork shapes every pour we do: footings, slab edges, columns, tie beams and stairs. Good forms are the difference between concrete that lands where the drawings say and concrete that needs grinding afterwards.
We also install window and door bucks, blocking for fixtures and cabinetry, and the backing later trades rely on - the details that are cheap now and expensive to add once the walls close up.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Do you set trusses or only build conventional framing?
- Both. We set and brace manufactured trusses and build conventional roof framing where the design calls for it, including hips, valleys and the tie-ins between roof planes.
- Do you handle hurricane strapping and tie-downs?
- Yes. Straps, clips and anchorage go in per the engineering on your plans. It is one of the main things inspected on a Florida frame, so it is documented as it goes in.
- Can you frame just part of a job?
- Yes. Some customers take the full shell package with us, others bring us in for the framing only. Either works - tell us the scope and we will estimate against it.
- Do you do finish carpentry and trim?
- Our focus is structural carpentry - framing, formwork, blocking and bucks. For trim, cabinetry and finish work we would point you to a finish carpenter rather than pretend it is our specialty.
