Masonry is unforgiving: a wall that is out of plumb or off layout at course three is a problem for every trade that follows. Our masons set out from the drawings, keep the coursing true, and place reinforcement, filled cells and lintels exactly where the engineering calls for them.

Structural Openings and Modifications
Cutting a new opening into an existing block wall - a slider, a wider garage door, joining two rooms - is structural work, not demolition. It needs shoring, a correctly sized lintel or header, and bearing at both ends. Done properly it is routine; done casually it is dangerous.
We handle new openings, infills, wall extensions, and repairs to damaged or cracked block, working from engineering where the span requires it.
Additions and New Structures
Block additions, garages, outbuildings and boundary or privacy walls are all part of the same trade. On an addition we tie the new work into the existing structure properly, matching coursing and anchoring into the original wall so the two move together.

- Yes. It needs shoring while the wall is opened and a correctly sized lintel or header with proper bearing at both ends. Depending on the span we will work from engineering, and it usually needs a permit.
- Do you build privacy and boundary walls?
- Yes, including block privacy walls, boundary walls and entry columns. Height and setback are usually limited by local code and sometimes by an HOA, which we can check before you commit.
- Can you match the block on my existing house?
- For an addition we match coursing and tie the new work into the existing wall so it behaves as one structure. Exact surface match depends on the original finish, and we will tell you honestly what it will look like.
- Do you do the footings and slab as well?
- Yes. We pour footings and slabs and lay the block, so the layout stays consistent from the ground up. Many customers take the whole shell package with us.
